Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to identify the extent to which leadership capabilities are available among managers in organizations, examine the internal environmental analysis within these organizations, and determine the relationship between the two variables. In an era of intense competition among organizations, these two variables have become important indicators of the development of Al-Zawraa General Company and its ability to adapt to the rapid changes taking place in the business environment. To this end, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to a sample of department managers working at Al-Zawraa General Company, affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, at its location in Baghdad. The research sample consisted of 33 respondents, whose opinions were surveyed regarding the subject of the study. Based on a review of leadership capabilities and a number of relevant studies, four dimensions of leadership capabilities were identified: personal capability, organizational capability, emotional capability, and innovation capability. These capabilities may play a role in analyzing the internal environment through its dimensions of resources, organizational structure, organizational culture, and operational efficiency.
To achieve the research objective, the descriptive-analytical approach was adopted, using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), Version 25, to determine the relationship between the two study variables: leadership capabilities and internal environmental analysis. The results of the exploratory study conducted at Al-Zawraa General Company demonstrated that leadership capabilities play an effective role in analyzing the internal environment.
