The Effectiveness of the Innovative Matrix Strategy on the Mental Alertness of Fourth Grade Female Students in Biology

Abstract
The current research aimed to find out the effectiveness of the innovative matrix strategy in the mental alertness of fourth-grade female students in biology. By presenting it to a group of arbitrators, its stability and the coefficient of difficulty and distinctions of the items of the scale were found. The data were processed statistically, and the results showed that the students of the experimental group who study using the innovative matrix strategy outperformed the students of the control group who study in the usual way in mental alertness. In the light of the results of the research, the researcher recommends the necessity of adopting the innovative matrix strategy in teaching biology, following up and paying attention to the mental alertness of fourth-grade female students, and conducting studies similar to the current research in other stages and other subjects.
