Abstract

The main idea of ​​the research is to identify the nature of the reflection resulting from the success of the strategic alignment of the senior management on the success of the application of the international standard (21001: 2018), as most organizations operate today in a dynamic environment with continuous movement, which needs to achieve compatibility between the variables of the two environments, in order to maintain its position in its private sector, and to achieve high quality in the services it provides according to the standard (21001:2018). It is the tool that enables educational organizations to upgrade the level of services they provide in line with the expectations of their beneficiaries. The research problem indicated that there is a lack of awareness of the importance of strategic compatibility and its use in meeting the requirements of the standard (21001: 2018) by educational organizations. Therefore, the importance of the research emerges in the recommendations presented as mechanisms to address this problem. In order to  translate  the idea of the research into applied results, the descriptive approach was adopted, as a questionnaire was designed for the purpose of data collection, which was distributed to a sample of (15) employees working in the Directorate of Institutional Development and Government Coordination. To process data, a number of statistical tools have been used in the  program (SPSS-V23). After the interpretation and discussion of these findings, the main and subsidiary hypotheses of the research were accepted for consideration, which confirmed the significance of the role played by the strategic alignment through its four dimensions (possibilities, commitment, balance, and control), in meeting the requirements of the standard (21001: 2018) by fulfilling its requirements. It was therefore recommended to review the experiences of educational organizations in developed countries that have been awarded the specification certificate (21001:2018), and try to convey the results of their success to Iraqi organizations
