Abstract

This research sought to define the function of strategic planning (supporting senior management, communication, and training of employees) in promoting organizational development in Salah Al-Din General Hospital and Al-Ballad General Hospital in Salah Al-Din Governorate, and to clarify the managers' degree of understanding of the significance of the study's topics and employees and how management support affects change and development. As the study shows the importance of the role of senior management support in the ways of developing organizations and keeping pace with the new reality, as a random sample of managers and workers in the surveyed hospitals was selected, As a fundamental instrument, the questionnaire was utilized to gather data and information for the study at the organization under review. The descriptive and analytical approach was used, and the study came out with a set of conclusions and proposals, most notably: significant correlations between the (senior management support) and organizational development and its dimensions, and the presence of a positive moral impact on the senior management support dimension in the dimensions of organizational development. The study's goal was to raise senior management's interest in strategic planning and its applications, to involve many of them in training courses and workshops, and to see the Arab and foreign experiences that restrict and suggested sponsoring them by receiving them. , health organizations
