Abstract
The research dealt with the possibility of how to use the intellectual capital in the public companies of Iraq’s industrial sector as an important means to reduce cost and improve product quality as well as raising the workers' production to reach organizational excellence. The research has applied this method in the research sector. The study aimed to display how intellectual capital is used and it reached to important conclusions showing that intellectual capital is one of the important and fundamental pillars of organizational excellence and the keenness of the sector was clear in order to develop and improve the intellectual capital and encourage the capabilities, skills and experiences of the workers, for the purpose of achieving market excellence. This is one of the priorities of this study’s interest. The most important recommendations of the study were the need to ensure the importance of intellectual capital in achieving organizational excellence and the need to search for ways that develop the ability and creativity of workers to reach products that are distinguished from those of competitors
