Islamic Economics Between Authenticity and Modernity
Main Article Content
Abstract
Authenticity in Islamic economics represents a fundamental methodology based on deriving its principles, rules, and objectives from the primary sources of Islamic legislation, namely the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah, while being guided by the efforts of Muslim jurists and scholars throughout the ages. This authenticity aims to establish an economic system that achieves justice, efficiency, and sustainable development while upholding Islamic values and morals. Modern Islamic economics is a fundamental methodology based on deriving its principles, rules, and objectives from the primary sources of Islamic legislation, namely the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah, while being guided by the efforts of Muslim jurists and scholars throughout the ages.
