The Effect of Dienes Strategy on The Achievement of Sixth Grade Students in the Subject of Social Studies

Abstract
The effect of (Dienes) strategy on the achievement of sixth grade students in the social subject. The following null hypothesis were formulated to achieve the research objectives. There are no statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group who study the subject according to Denise's strategy and the mean scores of the students of the control group who study the same subject according to the usual method in the post achievement test. The researcher intentionally chose one of the primary schools for his research, which was represented by Saqr Uhud School, and by simple random drawing method, he chose Division (A) to be the experimental group, which studies according to Denise's strategy, and Division (B) to be the control group, which is taught according to the usual method, with 60 male and female students. The two groups consisted of 30 students for each group, and equivalence was conducted between the two groups in a number of variables, which included the academic achievement of the mother and father, the chronological age of the students calculated in months, the intelligence test of Ahmed Zaki Saleh, and the grades of the social subject for the previous academic year 2021-2022. The researcher applied the experiment in the first academic course and prepared a test for that. A collection of 50 objective test items of multiple-choice type, and after verifying the validity and reliability of the items, it was applied on the research sample. After the end of the experiment, the results were subjected to statistical processes using the T-test for two independent samples. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group, and based on the results of the research, the researcher made a number of conclusions and concluded his research with some recommendations and proposals.
